Vegan Granola Smoothie Bowl Recipe

by Sharné

This vegan granola smoothie bowl recipe is really easy to make. To one half of a bowl, I added the Nourish’d granola, and I poured my homemade berry smoothie to the other half and added some coconut flakes on top.

Nourish’d Granola

I bought the Original Nourish’d Granola from the Nourish’d online store. It is sold in a 400G reusable glass jar for R150. The granola consists of clusters made of oats, nuts, seeds, cinnamon, and a few other extra-secret ingredients, which is mixed together with coconut oil and then baked till golden brown, in small batches. It is gluten, sugar, and preservative-free.

Berry Smoothie

The berry smoothie is made with 1 & 1/2 cups of frozen strawberries, 1 x frozen banana, 1 tbsp Nourish’d blueberry chia jam, 2 tbsp Nude Foods goji berries and 1  & 1/2 cups of Soma Oatify oat milk.  I add all the ingredients to my Nutribullet and blend it until smooth.

The crockery & cutlery

I bought these beautiful bowls at an antique shop in Kalk Bay called, Whatnot & China (ceramic) Town. It’s an amazing little shop where you can walk through room after room, filled with antique plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, decorative objects, and unique rare collectibles.

The wooden spoons are part of a double set of reusable wood cutlery in a fabric pouch, which I bought from Nude Foods, which is an amazing zero waste shop in Zonnebloem, Cape Town.
