if you are still using plastic-packaged shampoo and conditioner packed full of chemicals then I highly recommend you switch to all-natural shampoo and conditioner bars.

why make the switch?
Did you know that traditional bottled shampoo and conditioner contain many toxic chemicals, some that are carcinogens (cause cancer) and others that affect the organs and the central nervous system, to name a few.
Many of these chemicals are also harmful to the environment. Companies are allowed to use these chemicals and don’t have to tell us what harm they do. We are poisoning ourselves every day because we don’t know the truth. We have to educate ourselves.
Why not rather switch to an all-natural alternative. For over 10 years I have been using bottled natural shampoo and conditioner and recently made the switch to plastic-free versions when I made the connection between single-use plastic packaging and environmental pollution it causes.
the ingredients and the packaging
The shampoo bar lathers beautifully and the conditioner bar detangles my hair perfectly. One thing I have to mention is that after using the conditioner bar I have to make sure to rinse my hair properly otherwise it looks oily when dry. The conditioner bar is made with conditioning wax, shea butter, cocoa butter, castor oil, grapeseed oil sweet orange essential oil, and cinnamon leaf essential oil. The shampoo bar is made with saponified coconut oil, mica, and a blend of essential oils: sweet orange, lime, lemon, benzoin, and patchouli.
These bars don’t have any packaging but if you buy them online they are delivered in a brown paper bag, which I keep to reuse for packaging something else.
