Pesto Princess have launched four NEW Vegan soup flavours that are amazing.
Firstly, I am already crazy about the Pesto Princess dairy free pesto’s which are vegan, and which I have posted about here. If you’d like to see recipes I’ve created using Pesto Princess products – have a look here, and here.
I was very lucky to receive a royal delivery from Pesto Princess containing a cute mug and all of their NEW vegan soup flavours: Pea & Pesto; Fresh Tomato; Red Lentil; and Creamy Carrot. I was super excited to try each and every one. They are all creamy and delicious, and I honestly can not say which one I like most. I love soup, so much so, that I can eat it all year long.
Vegan Soup with a Difference
Next to the “Vegan Friendly” sticker, there is another which says “Buy 1 Give 1”. Pesto Princess have partnered with Ladles of Love, a volunteer run soup kitchen in Cape Town, which feeds hungry adults and children across Cape Town. So, for every Pesto Princess vegan soup that is sold, a generous portion of the profit is donated to Ladles of love. From the 2017 soup sales, Pesto Princess donated R40 000 to Ladles of Love. They really do care. Please go buy some of their vegan soup, so they can donate even more in 2018.
We really care, we don’t just pretend to.
Where to buy?
Pesto Princess soups are only available at selected Spars throughout the Western Cape, and at Wellness Warehouse on Kloof St, while their pesto’s are available at Checkers, Pick n Pay and Spar, to name a few. For a detailed list, have a look on their website.
Have you tried a Pesto Princess vegan soup? Did you like them? I really love feedback. Let me know in the comments below. Lastly, look at my directory for a list of all the awesome vegan products I have found locally.
