If you love fruit as much as I do, this smoothie is for you! I used packaging-free banana, lemon, granadilla, granny smith apple, kiwi, plums, and pear together with dairy-free milk.
Smoothies have become my go-to breakfast in the mornings before work. They are super quick and easy to make and require no planning. I mostly just throw together whatever fruits I have in the fridge, and this smoothie goes to show that you don’t have to invest in smoothie powders and superfood powders to have a delicious nutritious smoothie at home.
1 x banana
1 x lemon
1 x granadilla
1 x granny smith apple
1 x kiwi
2 x plums
1 x pear
1. Cut fruit into pieces, and scoop the granadilla bits out. Compost the fruit scraps.
2. Add to Nutribullet together with non-dairy milk. I used about a cup and half of milk but you can use more if you like.
3. Blend and pour into a jar. I poured the smoothie into a reused gherkins jar and added a stainless steel reusable straw.
